Quick answer

Wendy's Frosty Frights are the Halloween toys in Wendy's Kids' Meal, back from September 14, 2026 for a third year. There are 12 toys: six Frosty characters (Numb Chuck, Sir Choc-O-Lot, E.A.T., Cold Foot, Shiver Wing and Taranchilla), each with a variant. A secret 13th toy comes only through a Wendy's Rewards Drop in the app. Wendy's also sells $1 Boo! Books with five free Jr. Frosty coupons.

What comes in the Frosty Frights Kids' Meal?

Every Wendy's Kids' Meal comes with one Frosty Frights toy while they last. You pick:

  • Main: 2-piece Chicken Tenders, 4-piece Chicken Nuggets, a Hamburger or a Cheeseburger
  • Side: Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or Apple Bites
  • Drink: a kids' drink

Toys come in a themed meal bag, and Wendy's says the toy may vary and supplies are limited.

How to get the secret 13th Frosty Frights toy

The (un)lucky 13th character is not in any Kids' Meal. Wendy's says it comes through a Wendy's Rewards Drop, an exclusive merch drop for Rewards members in the Wendy's app.

  • Join Wendy's Rewards in the app (free)
  • Watch the app for the Rewards Drop. Wendy's has not shared the date, the odds or how many there are
  • Haunted Attraction Network reports a Wendy's Rewards offer starting October 26, so check the app this week

$1 Boo! Books: 5 free Jr. Frostys

Boo! Books are back for $1 at participating US Wendy's ($3 in Canada). Each book has:

  • Five coupons for a free Jr. Frosty
  • One coupon for a $1.99 Kids' Meal with a purchase

Coupons work in restaurants only and expire December 31, 2026. 90 cents of every $1 goes to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which helps kids in foster care. You can buy them in restaurants, in the Wendy's app, at kiosks, or in bulk online through the Foundation.

When do Frosty Frights end?

Frosty Frights started September 14, 2026. Wendy's says "while supplies last" and has not posted an end date. Fan sites report they run through about November 1, so if you're still missing toys, go this week.

Is there a Wendy's Happy Meal?

Wendy's calls it a Kids' Meal, not a Happy Meal (that's McDonald's name). This is the Frosty Frights promo's third Halloween. For other chains' toys right now, see our kids' meal toys page, including the Burger King Hello Kitty meal and McDonald's Disney Villains Boo Buckets.
