McDonald's Boo Buckets 2026: All 5 Disney Villains Designs

Do the 2026 Boo Buckets have lids?

Yes, but not the old plastic kind. McDonald's says each bucket comes with a villain-inspired lid and stickers. Fans who have them say the lid is paper or cardboard, which is how Boo Buckets have worked since they came back in 2022.

That is the biggest complaint online. Under McDonald's launch post, longtime collectors asked for real lids and the classic McPunk'n, McBoo and McGoblin faces.

The stickers: each bucket gets a sheet themed to its movie. Early in-hand photos show a Seek & Find puzzle on the back of the Scar and Maleficent sheets.

Can you pick your villain or buy a Boo Bucket alone?

McDonald's has not said either way.

• Picking a villain: not confirmed. Some outlets say the bucket you get is random. It never hurts to ask nicely at the counter.
• Bucket only: no outlet has reported McDonald's selling the bucket without a Happy Meal.
• Adults: anyone can order a Happy Meal, so you don't need a kid with you.
• App: you can order in the McDonald's app or in the restaurant.

A full set takes at least five Happy Meals, so most collectors trade duplicates.

McDonald's Boo Buckets 2026 price

McDonald's did not set one price. Prices are set by each restaurant. Based on recent prices, most Happy Meals cost roughly $5 to $7. Check the app for your store's price.

On eBay, full sets of all five are already listed for over $100. Single buckets like Maleficent and Scar are listed around $30. Those are asking prices, not sales.

How long are Boo Buckets available in 2026?

McDonald's only says for a limited time, while supplies last. It has not given an end date.

• One Disney fan site wrote that the buckets run through November 2. It gave no source, so treat that as unconfirmed.
• In past years, popular designs sold out at many stores in the days before Halloween.
• A Pokémon trading card Happy Meal is reported to start in early November, which suggests Boo Buckets will wrap up before then. McDonald's has not confirmed it.

Our advice: if you want a specific villain, go this week.

McDonald's Boo Buckets history

2026 marks 40 years of Boo Buckets, and this is the first Disney set. It is also the first licensed theme since Peanuts in 2016.

Is there a Pokémon Boo Bucket?

No. Searches for a "Happy Meal Pokémon fusion" are rising, but we found nothing from McDonald's about Pokémon Boo Buckets. Those images look fan-made. The real Pokémon news is a separate Pokémon trading card Happy Meal reported for November 2026.
