You can scan the QR code under the cap of select holiday bottles and creamers, or play free with no purchase. Prizes include 60 or 25 Stars, free drinks and bakery items, and 4 grand prizes of Starbucks for a Year.

How to play Starbucks Uncap, Scan & Win

1. Join Starbucks Rewards (free) if you aren't a member
2. Buy a participating bottle or creamer at the grocery store and scan the QR code under the cap, or go straight to uncapstars.starbucks.com (no purchase needed)
3. Sign in with your Starbucks Rewards account and agree to the rules
4. Play the instant-win game once a day. Every play wins a prize or an entry into the Starbucks for a Year drawing

You can play once a day for 60 days. Tap each day after you play to keep your streak going.

Which products have the QR code?

Look for specially marked:

• Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino bottled drink
• Starbucks Iced Espresso Peppermint Mocha multi-serve bottle
• Starbucks Creamer, 28 oz: Peppermint Mocha, Chestnut Praline or Sugar Cookie

They're sold at grocery stores, not in Starbucks cafés.

Starbucks Uncap, Scan & Win prizes

That's 300,500 instant-win prizes in all. You can win each prize type only once (one 60-Star prize, one 25-Star prize and one drink or bakery coupon). The Starbucks for a Year winners are drawn January 4, 2027.

Is Uncap, Scan & Win the same as Starbucks for Life?

No. They're two different games:

• Uncap, Scan & Win (now): instant-win, once a day, November 2 to December 31
• Starbucks for Life: Starbucks' other holiday game. In 2025 it ran December 8, 2025, to January 4, 2026 as the "Merrython." Starbucks hasn't announced the 2026 dates yet

Who can play?

• Legal US residents (50 states and DC), 18 or older
• Starbucks Rewards members
• One play per person per day

Tips

• Play every day. You get a new chance daily, and the first week has the most prizes per day
• You don't need to buy anything. The free web entry gets the same game
