When does the new McDonald's value menu come out?
Early 2027, nationwide. McDonald's will pick the winning setup from the test, then roll it out. "Our goal is to launch a new program nationally in early 2027," Kempczinski said.
Why is McDonald's changing its value menu?
US sales slipped. Same-store sales fell 0.2% in the third quarter of 2026, after 2.4% growth a year earlier. Kempczinski admitted McDonald's hasn't met the needs of lower-income customers looking for "great entry-level value."
